My husband came in this past Saturday to ask about ordering a photo cake. He was told that 24 hour notice was needed but that it would be best to come in on Thursday to make sure the cake would not be late for our daughter's party on Sunday. So I came in today (Thursday) to order the cake and was told they were taking no more orders for the weekend. I tried to explain what my husband was told but the apathetic person behind the counter didn't care and said I should have gotten the order in earlier in the week. I said, "Okay, whatever" and began to walk away. Of course needing the last word the associate snidely told me to "Have a good day." Someone needs to make sure bakery associates are giving out correct information. I should have known better than to rely on a Walmart associate since they generally don't care. And even if the girl could not help me she could have pretended to care a little. I've never used the Walmart bakery and now I've learned a lesson not to rely on them ever again. Honestly I would have argued but I am dealing with a medical issue and just did not have the energy at the time.
