As a young girl who worked there for a few months, I can honestly say they are terrible. They almost never work you, they have screwed up pay for some, they tell you to constantly ask if a customer needs anything and to stay close by, which customers hate, and the managers? All they do is sit around in the back and eat and expect you to do everything. They let me go because I couldn't work one weekend, as I was going to the beach with family, after they hadn't worked me for 3 weeks. And the Saturday shift was a "call-in" shift. I went up there the following Thursday and found out for myself, they never told me. They tell you that all employees have to work the weekend, and i only worked probably 3 the entire 5 months I was there. Overall, terrible.
The store manager Sacha looks like a snack
Love this store :D They always have the cutest Vans and Converses! And the baby shoes are precious. All of the staff is very nice and helps you find what you are looking for. Overall, the store is great :)
I stood inside and listened to JOSH, whom later stated he was the manager, talk on the phone for 10 min. JOSH never acknowledged me in the store. THIS THE RUDEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT JOURNEYS, as i was a faithful customer. I WILL NO LONGER SHOP THERE NOR ANY OTHER JOURNEYS STORE! RICK DREW, THE DISTRICT MANAGER, AS JOSH CLAIMS WAS THE INDIVIDUAL ON THE PHONE WITH HIM AS I WAS IGNORED INSIDE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THAT COULD HAVE WAITED! ITS OBVIOUS THERE IS NO VALUE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS PLACE. ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND DISGUSTING.
My sister recently broke her big toe, and we were specifically in search of Birkenstocks. All of the stores that typically carry them that we knew of were out. A very kind service person at Dick's Sporting Goods directed us to Journey's, which never would have occurred to me. We called to ensure they were in stock, and the salesperson was very helpful on the phone, describing the various styles they had in stock to make sure we would be able to get what we needed before making the half hour drive. In store, they were helpful and friendly, and the shoes were $40 cheaper at this outlet store than at the REI we had started at.
